The Republic of West Florida was a short-lived republic in the western region of Spanish West Florida for several months during 1810.  The single star flag became the inspiration for the Bonnie Blue flag which represented that southern states in 1861. This is a very historically significant flag and inspired more state flags such as Texas.  Designed by our staff in New Bern, NC. The Republic of West Florida or Bonnie Blue flag hat has a Salt-Wash™ to create a weathered, heavily sun bleached look. The high thread count embroidered flag patch creates a vintage look.
